Post subject: Serious system error problems |
|
|
I have had this sort of problem months ago when my PC had the Tagasaurus malware on it and finally got over that but have had a chronic problem of getting disconnected at times ever since and when it happens the PC says it cannot find a modem and there is no dial tone (neither of which make sense!). You usually have to reboot. This is caused by registry problems that my Free Registry Fix finds them daily and fixes but they come back quickly.
Usually it means I lose my connection a few times daily but today I had the whole monitor go off and when I got it back on after letting it cool down or I got bleeping, I get a message saying it has recovered from a serious error. This happned three times but I am back on and it seems to be holding.
The computer experts might know the answer I hope!
It appears it is all caused by:
Reg Key C:/WINDOWS/System32
and REG-SZ (value not set)
and Windows 3.1 Migration status
all of which "cause input/output errors."
Both those problems I fix but they return and if left unattended will cause disconnection or, as I now know worse!
Can anyone help please?
I have also had migraine yesterday so having a really bad week! |
