 Post subject: Bird of Paradise Flower |

The Bird of Paradise Flower (Strelitzia reginae) is not native to Tenerife but is extensively grown here in parks, gardens and on fincas because of its very great ornamental qualities. The distinctive flower resembles the head of the bird it is named after. Bird of Paradise flowers are often sold as cut flowers and as plants.
