As I've lived here for twenty one years I wouldn't know what is "The usual that you hear around the pubs and clubs mate, "! _________________ .

Hola and a belated bienvenidos from me! I will just add my tuppence: learning Spanish is the best thing you can do and good for you if you are already trying. You don't have to be fluent but even just grasping the basics before you get here and then practising once you get here by mixing with the locals (it's not as easy as it seems if you live in a tourist area!). _________________ Who am I? I will make this day a happy one for I alone can determine what kind of day it will be. |

Style i would say, similar to the solo artists that you see trawling the bars of Tenerife, although obviously a little better quality..LOL, I also fronted a band for a while, merely as the singer as unfortunately i dont play musical instruments, learning guitar as well as Spanish, its never too late to learn they say, not sure which uis coming on best. We mainly did covers of again many various artists, from Beatles/Stones to Present day artists. We didnt really do any hard Rock though. I have been told i have a powerful voice, in a none overbearing way. My range i would say is good, though i would need some pretty tight trousers to be able to cover any Queen material. _________________ Never say never. |

Hola & a belated welcome from me too.
Learning Spanish is key to being that one step ahead of all the other peeps from around the globe heading to the island for a new start & better life!
This forum will certainly put on the right track & although I don't post a great deal I find it invaluable in researching any questions I have. Most have been asked before and by using the 'search' option you will most likely find the questions have already been answered......
If not there are loads of great guys & gals who will gladly give their time to assist
Good luck in your ventures
I'm next out on the 7th March for a couple of weeks cannot wait...
Regards
