Older complexes are cheaper to buy but there is always the possibility of sizeable bills to come for upgrading/repairs of the properties and their surroundings, bear that in mind.
Most people want to be near to the beach but of course these complexes are more expensive but are easier to let....do your sums _________________ .

hi Rob, it does seem a catch 22 situation, pay more and rent out more. Looking from here you have to pay over 100K sterling for anything near the beach and also most are 15 years old and maintenance could be an issue. Everytime we are out ,we keep looking but sometimes it's hard just to decide on an area to settle on never mind a complex.Estate agents tell you that everything rents but they are guided by greed for themselves, forums like this give you honest answers and are a godsend to all of us with ambition to get out of the place formely known as Great Britain but now just Britain. ,,,,,,,,,,,cheers Rob and keep up the good work in 2006 |
