 Post subject: exchange rates |

| hi just wondered if the exchange rate is improving over there...was around 1.30 in jan....thanks in advance! |

It was 1.29 in puerto colon yesterday...and 1.31 in some shops in San Blas golf del sur....
Thats all I know at the mo though....I have been keeping an eye cos my sister flies over next week...lol
My mum says its low at the present time in UK though...and last week was 1.25 at airport..

When my folks came over the other week, the post office wanted 1.26.
Highest I've seen around here is 1.31 |

Last year I could get 1.48 now its anywhere from about 1.29 to 1.32 ish depending where you go. Clare was offered 1.26 the other day !!!
My advice, if you are thinking of changing money do it soon as I think its going to get worst before it gets any better in the near future.

I cant believe how bad the euro is at the min, i really wish i hadnt exchanged all my money in pounds *grrr* its 1.24 in my local post office!!!

It is improving. I have just exchanged Mrs Treb for an xbox 360. Im well chuffed and the xbox doesn't nag or burn the frozen peas

Oh dear, if you had taken my advice in early Feb you would have got about 1.31. As I said it would get worst.
So now after a month and a half, on £1000 you have lost 50 euros.
A night out !!!
