NIE stands for Número de Identidad de Extranjero. It is identification number for foreigners in whole Spain. You can get one in Police station in Las Americas. I waited for mine about 3 months (cant remember now).
As far I know You can setup bank account without NIE as a nonresident. All what you need is valid passport or ID.
Anyone can add something else? |
