I have noticed quite a few people and families returning back to the UK recently. I know 3 families just from Silencio, a family from Las Galletas and a couple more in the last two weeks alone. Has any one else noticed the same.
Its a shame but it is tough out there if you need to work. _________________ Treble99

This forum has a plethora of members who have made the move and been successful and those who have not been so lucky. Im sure, if you ask they will be happy to share their experiences with you.
I know you are thinking about "living the dream" and I genuinely wish you all the best with it. One of the key points to success when moving here is plan, plan, plan then plan again. _________________ Treble99

Another thing is to be realistic. EG don't call yourself a hard worker if you're not, I've seen so many people come here claiming to be 'grafters' or hard workers and yet they expect to work 35 hours a week, have weekends off and get disheartened when they don't earn all that they expect to. If you're not in the habit of working 80 hours a week then you'll probably not be capable of doing it here to make a success of things. _________________ .

| Totally agree guys, even here in Palm Mar we have seen a lot of people returning back to the UK recently, dreams broken, were expecting a 35 hour week, lots of free time, high wages etc etc. PLEASE anyone thinking of moving here and needing to work to survive DO your homework. |

Thanks for the guide a lot! It goes further than all the good expectations and dreams you have before realising the whole picture of moving and adaptation in a new palce.
I'm going to move with my family in next 1-2 years, but still have so much to do. I guess it's even harder to move from my country because of many reasons. But the fact is that a really low percentage of russians come back in their country after living some time in Spain.
Thanks again for a lot of useful information in this forum! _________________ Ésta es la tierra amada:
