Perfect.
The second photo to me looks like an ordinary extension cable for phones.
The third picture, the top line coming out goes to your blue router yes? and the second line goes into that small box with Telefonica written on it (this is a filter) and then goes to your telephone.
So you have a filter.

Yes, it goes to the router if that is what the purple box is!
It's a relief I have all the right stuff even if it hasn't been working properly. _________________ Find out more about me here: http://www.myspacetenerife.com/index.php?page=view_profile&id=10 |

Well done karlb, his problem appears to be with his telephone line, it's very crackly. He's reluctant to tell Telefonica because last time they charged him for putting it right. I've suggested that if they charge him he should dispute it because they are responsible for supplying a good connection. Watch this space _________________ .

If it were me the first thing I would do is, one at a time take the leads out and give them a wipe with a dry cloth to make sure there is no dust or dirt on the connections.
Then if that did not work, I would take the phone with the same cable and filter to a friends house, plug it in and see if the crackle is still there. If its not you know its not the phone if it is there is something wrong with the phone and / or connectors.
Good luck Bard. _________________ Need a cleaner in South Tenerife ? Cleaning just got better... www.maid4tenerife.com
