It not Lava flow that causes the problems, its the hot ash. Smoking is so bad for you.

Yes, that might be true, I have been reading the post entitled "Smoking", but has anyone told Pico Viejo?

Can I just add my bit to this as well..... for the price we are paying for a studio apartment in Parque Santiago III we could have probably bought a 3 bed house out of town. There was no negotiation on the price but once we stood on the balcony and looked out at our fab seaview overlooking the prom it was worth every penny to us. My husband loves the sea (Pisces of course!) and after having a holiday home with a marina view for 10years decided we should have a change. The apartment had only just gone on the market when we snapped it up, the same went for the one next to ours. It's all about location location location and for us it has everything we want with regards to wheelchair access and ease for my husband in and around the complex. Driving is also out of the question for him. We feel sure that if we want to sell sometime in the future (for a larger one!) we will have no problem in selling.
