Looks like we've got another Calima blowing in. The wind's picked up, there's dust in the air and the temperature's just shot up 4c in the past 20 minutes!
I'm glad the carwash was broken now....

That is spooky. I just texted my wife who is out with friends that a Calima is in the air and was going to post about it.

lol yeah, a Calima is a rise in temp and snow is a fall in temp

False alarm folks. It got up to about 28c in Las Americas last night about 8pm but by midnight it was back down to 19c. This morning, there was no dust (well, no more than usual anyway) 
The weather has been wierd here this week. Still fairly warm, but its been really misty/cloudy sun. I can hardly remember what La Gomera looks like

it has been cold, sunny, bright, rain, snow, frost, here and I can hardly remember what Gomera looks like too

Yes indeed, it went up to 29c this afternoon at my place!! Now that's hotter than Paris Hilton oiled up naked in a sauna in the middle of Bangkok in July! Sssssssizzling.....
   
But there's no dust and I can just about see La Gomera, so its definitely not a calima. Maybe I'll go wash the car after all. Assuming that they've fixed the flippin' machine now.

It will be months before the temperature reaches 19c in the UK.
Ah well, just thinking back to the beginning of February when we were in Playa Paraiso. It was hot every day and for the first time since we have been visiting Tenerife, we actually saw La Gomera every day.

It'll be 2 days before I'm in those hot temperatures..............flying to Tenerife on Friday AM.....be there just after lunch time, for 2 weeks....yippee!!

Lea,
Cars always cause problems I hope you've sorted your tyre out. Were you able to simply pump it up or did you need a new one to replace the 'flat' ??
