A friend/client of mine is writing the definitive book for anyone wanting to live in Tenerife. Its a very seriously researched book that will cover all aspects of life on the Island. Work, schools, health, accommodation, moving, lawyers, accountants, gestors, companies, duty free zones, websites....you name it and it will be covered, the list is enormous.
I have been quite seriously involved in the project and can vouch for it wholeheartedly. It really is a 'must have' for anyone thinking of relocating to Tenerife. Price will be a measly 9.95 Euros plus postage and packaging. (unknown amount as yet). Because of its tremendously helpful content we will be making it possible to buy copies via our websites as soon as we have the banners and coding completed (Jim). Anyone wishing to pre order their copy can do so by contacting me. It is due to go on general sale in Sept/Oct 2008.

£7 aprox in current exchange market.... average for a book I'd say obviously people pay for well presented ones hard back, glossy with pics etc.... but depends what kind of book it is .... people will be buying this one for some vital planning so would probably pay that little bit more esp as it will be one if it's kind and very specific.

It will probably run to around 120,000 words covering 160 + subjects with case studies etc. A very highly researched book. The research costs are far higher than a fiction book and yet it's still cheap.

Has anyone else noticed that it's all women who've ordered the book so far? Must be something about men not reading instruction books except as a last resort!

My question, and the reason I have not ordered YET,
Legislation, forms, the systems are forever changing. Someone taking something they read as gospel in black and white could be doing themselves more harm than good and making a simple task a long hard struggle if the method or ways have changed.
What would you say to me?
