I had a phone call from someone in Wales today who said that it was snowing at his home! Happy Easter!
I hope that you're enjoying your holiday back in the UK Juum. _________________ .

Forget Glasgow, it was snowing heavily in London at White Hart Lane for the Tottenham v Portsmouth match this lunchtime!!
That's not particularly surprising though, as it often snows at Easter in England, I think on average every 3 or 4 years. I doubt the snow settles for long though.
Saying that, it got a bit chilly in Las Americas this afternoon after it clouded over. I almost contemplated changing out of my shorts... _________________ My Paranoia-Management Therapy is going great! Now they're only watching me half the time.... |

Saying that, the sun has been a rare commodity in the south of Tenerife this week. It even rained heavily overnight. After several days of mostly cloud, I heard a rumour that the sun was going to rear its ugly head today. No luck so far though...
You can always tell when the weather's crap in Tenerife, as all the tourists suddenly descend on the San Eugenio shopping centre to endure the relentless sales patter of eager Indian camcorder salesmen. So far however, I've managed to resist the "bloody hell offers" and the "much cheapness for you Sir! I give you velly good plice" _________________ My Paranoia-Management Therapy is going great! You should get up in the morning, it was beautiful earlier. _________________ .

Yes, I remember when folk used to get up before 9.00am. Used to be big in the 90's apparently...
Its been raining again here today _________________ My Paranoia-Management Therapy is going great! Now they're only watching me half the time.... |

That's really funny that she wakes you up at the exact same time each day. Have you actually checked on your watch (assuming you managed to get another watch that's still working after the problems you were having before)?
Not sure whether I'd prefer to be woken up by a cat jumping on me, or an alarm clock though Luckily I don't get to experience either these days

Yes, it's always 7 and I have yet another watch. I am really going through them! I got one for 12€ in a shop in Icod and that was the worst of the lot - it lasted a month but I could hardly take it back after all that time with no receipt. I went a week without one and then got another at 12€ from a shop that was open in Silencio. He wanted 15 but I said I wasn't going higher than 10 but he said he wouldn't go lower than 12.
I remember watches from the UK that used to last years and that included cheap digital ones but her the best I have had is a 10€ one that lasted a year from Abdou a Looky Looky friend who I haven't seen for ages. If I knew where he was I'd ask him to put a new battery in it.
Tiggy jumps on my keyboard and goes on the desk by my monitor if I fail to move and that worries me in case she breaks it so I do then!
I find cats have routines they expect me to follow.
Old Lad likes to be on my lap and if I put him down he just comes back and eventually I give up! _________________ Find out more about me here: http://www.myspacetenerife.com/index.php?page=view_profile&id=10 |

Isn't it strange how they don't last very long. Could it be the altitude where you are up and down Teide fairly often?
I've got a Casio G-Shock watch that I never wear (one of those black plastic sports watches). The thing is virtually bulletproof/waterproof etc and will definitely survive your lifestyle. Maybe I can let it go for your price range if you're interested. If so, I'll bring it with me to the forum meet? _________________ My Paranoia-Management Therapy is going great! Yes, please - I'll take it! Even my new watch has just had the buckle fall off the strap which was glued at the end. Its still working though which is what's important!
I feel like I have the reverse Geller affect! Uri starts them and I stop them! _________________ Find out more about me here: http://www.myspacetenerife.com/index.php?page=view_profile&id=10 |
