As you have noticed I am not in work....I have had to book a days leave to sit in and wait for the emergency guy from the Barclays additions home emergency insurance to come out and fix my boiler !
WHY ?! As Chris went to fill the boiler up for more pressure the other day and forgot to stop it, we were then welcome by water coming out from the chimney into the fire and it all started hissing and gurgling etc etc
The central heating was going mad gurgling grumbling etc..... so as we do not know where the burst has happened , some where up the chimney it would seem ! AND we have not been able to have the central heating on since Saturday or hot water so we are all freezing, Jude had to go and stay at his Nanas as it is too cold to have a baby in the house and we have been having to boil the kettle to cleans pots etc.....
So THANKS Chris... he has started his new job today and he has the guys number..... and has gone to work without letting me know the number or what time the guy is coming round ? So I am sat here like a numpty waiting for him, wasting a days leave !! BLUMMING MEN ! And to top it all off I have been down the cellar where the boiler is and have seen the mess he has made down there with pots, soil etc and have had to spend half hour cleaning it up so it looks half decent when the guy comes !
LOL rant over..... sorry Men ha ha Lea x

OH dear, Lea there is nothing worse than waiting in for someone, you have my sympathy for the cold I was the same a few weeks ago, and the gas boards idea of early morning is 1.00pm, do you have the snow and cold there

Yes we have snow ! He has just text to say that he has asked the guy to call me although I have heard nothing yet !!! He did say he would ring at 8.30 ?!? It is freezing even with the fire on grrrrr !
Wish I was in The Reef it would be nice and warm there

NO... I am not a happy camper at all ! Chris has tried calling them numerous times !! And I sat here cold and wasted a day's leave we have only juts got our new leave allowance ! If he doesn't turn up today there is no chance I am waiting all day tomorrow too !

ARGH! !!!! Just rang going mad, got a guy called Balil that was struggling to speak English, talked complete nonsense, didn't even listen to what I was saying and kept calling me Miss.GIlbert !?1?! WHo the bloody hell is that ?!? Having corrected hi numerous times it was infact Mrs.Gildert he still persisted to get it wrong and said that the boiler guy would be here at some point this afternoon but would not give me a time as he did not want me wasting my time staying in ?!?! I was like ... what are you talking about , the fact he can't give me a time means I have to waste my time staying in ?!? To which he responded why would you have to stay in tomorrow ?!/
So after speaking to a complete imboseal I am not no further forward...... GRRRRR ! What ever happened to customer service! Like I said if I had not been told this morning that he would call at 8.30 I could have gone to work this morning and done half a day instead of wastin my leave sat in waiting for the bloody guy !

Lea that is what really makes me mad, when you ring up and there is a person of ethnic majority on the phone and only has a smattering of English, so it is virtually impossible to converse with them let alone find out when an engineer is going to arrive, you have my sympathy.

Well thankfully I have just had a call from the engineer (who spoke English) who said he will be here in a bit and he is sorry for any delay ! All fair and well but I could have got a full day's work in this time !!
But hopefully I will be warm tonight ! Lea x

A nice guy called Tom has just arrived...... after I have wasted a days leave and sat in all day ! He can't fix it until we find where the leak is.... he said we have to pull up the carpets and the floorboards and find the leak and then he can come back and fix it, but until then he can't ?!?1 Why didn't someone tell us that before I sat in all day waiting for him!
And on top of that, we only had the carpet re-fitted last week after we have had the electrics re -done so now they have to be pulled back up again!
Its one thing after another, so now we are going to have to freeze !
