Your have my sympathy too Leanne.
I have ranted more than once when I have had a day off and no-one has turned up. Once the carpet fitters turned up at 4.30 pm to fit the whole of our hallway, staircase & landing. Gee was hopping mad when he came home expecting a nice new carpet and they had barely started.
Hope you did not hit Chris too hard.

..i once sat in all day (delivery time between 8am and 8pm!! only for nothing to arrive....hmm, not a happy bunny..after "discussing " this crap service i was told my stuff wasn't on the truck as they had forgotten it and it was in wakefield!! promise after promise , i was assured it would arrive by 10.30 am the next day, i went to bed all stressed!!10.30 came and went, so did 6pm...ooh, someone was going to cop it!!...after 3 1/2 hours of ranting, pleading and near crying with frustration,, it turned out that our stuff was actually out of stock at the warehouse and would be for the next 3 months!!eh?? they told me the delivery day! they took my payment!! r..soles!! needless to say, the refund was immediate and i won't be buying from them again...........aaargh!!
...leanne, you have my sympathy!!...what happened to decent customer service?? and the customer is always right and not just an inconvenience?? |

Margaret, this answers the way MOST of us would be if WE lived in Tenerife and didnt speak the lingo fluently........I know its difficult but we do and should all try to have more patience with people like this, after all they are making the effort......
sorry lea not going off subject, still doesnt help when you'v got to as you say, waste a days holiday to wait in for someone who doesnt turn up when there supposed to.
