Does anyone know how it pays to take your singing career to tenerife? I have heard it pays quite well and the work is all year round. The singing business is falling rapidly in the uk . Since the smoking ban clubs and pubs are shutting left right and center and i fear before long i will be out of a job so i am looking at tenerife. If anyone has had any experiences in singing over there i would be greatfull of any tips and information they may have on this i would be greatfull x sammy x

If you have a look at the other posts, you will find you have to visit different clubs/pubs etc with a disc/tape of you singing, and sell yourself

If you are good you can do well here. A friend of mine's husband earns a very good living.

on Oasis FM hey were looking for a new memeber for a Abba tribute band..they are already established here which may be better for you.

There are many groups and singers here already and the pay is good IF you are good.....But you have to try and get in.

You may have to do a few freebies before being asked to do gigs.

I know people who have said it is very difficult to get into over here...BUT take a few CDs round..offer free try out shows and see how you get on.

thankyou for your help evry 1. i am already in an established band over here so i wouldnt be looking to go into a different one but thankyou for the offer anyway. I would say we are ready to work over there and i think we are good enough we always go down very well over here. We do cabarei dressing up as different characters and making it quite funny including the audience in what we do. so i think they would like it We have been recording some songs and have sent them to an agent over there and he has asked for some posters to be sent to him so i think he is interested so fingers crossed x x Thanks again xxx
