San Juan del Reparo is a village in the northwest between El Tanque and Icod and overlooking Garachico, of which there are some splendid views from the road above. Here are some photos.
San Juan himself
The cultural centre
San Juan del Reparo's dragon tree
Garachico _________________ Find out more about me here: http://www.myspacetenerife.com/index.php?page=view_profile&id=10 |

Just been consulting my Tenerife Map.
(I have one on my wall in the spare bedroom where I have my computer "home office" - lol)
That is some view of Garachico, from the road above - Phew what a height.
Sunny will feel quite ill if she sees that photo!
Thanks for posting them Bard. _________________ Growing old is mandatory. Growing up is optional. |

I have lots of maps and every one gives different details! One I bought and was published by Everest who are a big book publisher disappointed me because it left out Los Silos which is a sizable town. I find the best way of really finding anything out here is go there yourself and then you know! I don't understand how they compile maps or decide what gets listed and what doesn't! I also know maps can be very out of date - I got caught with that as the problem years back when I was looking for the police station in Las Americas ad where my map said it was there wasn't one and where there is one wasn't on there! _________________ Find out more about me here: http://www.myspacetenerife.com/index.php?page=view_profile&id=10 |

I know what you mean Bard.
I have downloaded google street maps just before our holidays and we have ended up drawing in missing roads as we have been finding our way around.

Why is it so bad here I wonder? Still it leaves plenty of room for the adventurous spirit - you never quite know what to expect! _________________ Find out more about me here: http://www.myspacetenerife.com/index.php?page=view_profile&id=10 |
