Post subject: IT Jobs In Tenerife |
|
|
Hi Everyone
Me, my Girlfriend and one of our friends are looking to come to Tenerife within the next 2 months.
I don't have previous experience of working in a bar but over here I work as an IT Consultant and I was wondering if there are many IT related jobs available out there for non-spanish speaking people?
Cheers

HI Stewatts,
Sorry to be the barer of bad news but in a word, NO. there wont be.
to undertake a job like that or office admin etc you MUST be able to speak the lingo, if your not coming over for two months you could get started on your spanish......... _________________ im back in Tenerife soon........ yepeeeeeeeee |

Hi Dianne
Not what I wanted to hear but at least I know now lol think I am just gonna come out for a few weeks and see whats available. If I manage to find ANY work then I will stay, otherwise back to good old England!
Many thanks for taking the time to reply

There are loads of people out here trying to do t he same thing. You may have to rethink what jobs you want....
If you are serious about living abroad then try learning the language. This will help enormously. Also be prepared to do other things and maybe 2 or 3 different jobs.
There is work out here but not what you may be used to.
good luck with your search _________________ Find out more at www.myspacetenerife.com

If you are very good at a specialized job and have experience then you may have a chance of finding work without speaking Spanish. However when living over here it will make your life a lot easier if you do speak it. _________________ Who am I? Find out more here: http://www.myspacetenerife.com/index.php?page=view_profile&id=17
I will make this day a happy one for I alone can determine what kind of day it will be.
