2 euros for a pint in my bar for the last 3 years and before....many bars 1 euro a pint..
NOW 22 pound for parking thats out rageous.....makes me remember WHY I live in Tenerife...

hi we went in march and the rates were mad very dear we have seen a big change been gooing 18 years now but its great there.

In 18 years you must have seen some big fluctuations. The British economy is weak at the moment and to help it and the public the government has reduced interest rates which results in an even weaker pound.

I've just received this.... The euro fell to a two-week low against the dollar on Thursday after a survey showed that German corporate sentiment deteriorated more than expected in April, heightening concerns that cracks in the eurozone’s largest economy were starting to show.
This means that we may see a slight reduction in the euro interest rate which could help the pound providing that it doesn't keep weakening.
