Evening all,
I think it is all in hand, well lets say my lawyer has put my mind at ease a little with regards to the contract.
She has spoken directly with the estate agent on my behalf and says as long as i cancel the contract 2 months before it is due i will be ok, otherwise the estate agent will just renew it again for 6 months without asking me.
All i have to do now is keep a mental note of the date!!

Does that mean that you've finally received and signed a 6 month contract? May I suggest that you send a bureaufax or have a gestor/your lawyer deliver it by hand and get a receipt, the agent could claim not to receive your e-mail/normal letter. Glass half empty on your behalf again.

Also, ask your lawyer to get confirmation in writing what the agent is saying about cancelling the contract. Without that, the agent could always deny it.
Sorry to deplete Rob's half-empty glass any further, but better safe than sorry.

Thanks for that Rob & Funky, advice appreciated and i will follow it up with my lawyer.
Yeah i am building up to that drink already stripps, will be nice to finally meet Jude as well after all this time!

To be honest i will be really glad to get back and get ourselves settled, we aint settled over here as we have nothing here apart from our jobs and a roof over our heads which isn't even ours!!
Living with my dad at the moment which is great as it isn't costing us anything so trying to save , save, save but the fact is that our house is in Tenerife and i cannot bring myself to even think about selling it as i cant.
How are you anyway?
Congrats and i am sorry that its late but i have been so pre occupied since getting back to this dump with sorting the girls schools out and getting jobs again, it's never ending.
Will have a catch up with you when i get back over.

We're fine thanks Fiona. I'm getting fatter but trying to be sensible with what I eat as I don't want to put on as much weight this time as I did with Xoaquin! It took me almost 6 years to get it all off again!!
Look forward to catching up with you when you do get abck "home"!

Just an update on my tenants....they have moved out after all the interest it created on here, and they were only in there for 3 and a half months!!!
At least the place will be empty and ready to move into when we get back in September.

Awww Fiona it will be so nice for you to get back, are the kids all ok with it now ? I bet you can't wait..!!! Bad news about Halifax Town weren't it  Such a shame, some good friends of ours have been released.....my father in law would have been so upset! Chris was upset when we got the phone call.
So what are you plans when you get back to the Reef? Sunbathe, sunbathe, sunbathe lol ! x

Indeed it is a shame to see the plight of this good old football team. If their application to join the Uni bond League is successful it will mean that they start the new season only one league lower than the Conference, albeit without most of their players from last season.
I spent a couple of evenings in the company of Kieran O'Reagan last month. I know that he enjoyed his time with The Town both as a player and as a manager.

Chris knows him, he said he is a legend and a right nice bloke *Burnley accent* lol !!
He played at his Dad's testimonial and Chris remembers him being joint manager at the Shay when they got promoted into the league. His dad served 10 years at the Shay as foot ball trainer but he unfortunately passed away in 2006. He would have been gutted !
They are still holding the Tommy Gildert Memorial Trophy though which is so lovely and thoughtful of the fanbase...
When you are next with him, you will have to say hi from Chris !!
