Belated condolences from me too

I think you're right to still come to Tenerife though. My dad passed away in 2005, only a few days before I was due to leave on my next trip to Tenerife. He wanted to be buried in the family plot in Scotland which meant two weeks of bureaucratic hassle as they treat anything transported to Scotland from England as an EXPORT !!

We had to wait over 2 weeks for the funeral, so I bit the bullet and came to Tenerife inbetween. I'm so glad I did, as it really gave me time to get my head straight and come to terms with the situation away from the usual home and work distractions.

Anyway, we'll have plenty of time to cheer you up at the forum meet and maybe toast a drink to your mum
