Well it had to happen sometime this year we have been basking in Tenerife type sunshine for the last week with temperatures higher than the last visit to the Island in March - 26C
Arrgh but there is a catch (at least for me) as with the sunshine comes the high pollen count & my 'hay fever' goes ballistic.
All the more reason for living on the Island as I am guessing there are hardly any cases of people having 'pollen' allergies in the Canaries??
Unless of course you know different?

Sorry about the Hayfever Zappa |
Thanks Margaret
this year has been bad so far with high pollen counts, normally I do not suffer too badly and it is only for a short time. Some poor people get it for much longer and far worse.
Hay fever sufferers can find relief by living near coastal waters as the breeze keeps the pollen away.....
Now I wonder where to look for a new move... _________________ La hierba siempre verde en el otro lado de la valla

Hi Zappa,
It's hot here in the midlands too. We have actually had the air-con on at work this week (last week we had to have it blowing heat cos they had turned the central heating off - lol)
the only reason we had it fitted was because we are electrical contractors and the air-con people we use fitted it for us as a favour! Never thought we would we actually use it to cool us in this country.
Sorry about the hay fever too. _________________ Growing old is mandatory. Growing up is optional. |

Hi MaryJ
ha ha there's one thing you cannot deny living in the UK is the unpredictability of the weather...
Trouble is we go from one extreme to another and next week you will probably need the air-con back blowing heat _________________ La hierba siempre verde en el otro lado de la valla |
