 Post subject: Another Parrot Joke |

A woman gave a home to a rescued parrot. She soon discovered that it was a marvelous talker, but its speech was peppered with swear words. She tried tapping its beak every time it swore, but this made it even worse. The air was really blue.
She threatened to put it in the freezer if it continued to swear, and it did it even more. Out of frustration she carried out her threat, and even from within the freezer the sound of the parrot's swearing was clearly audible for a while. After ten minutes of silence she lifted the lid, and peered in to espy the shivering bird.
"If I bring you out, do you promise there will be no more of that horrible language?" she enquired of the parrot.
"Yes. I promise", came the reply.
"Okay I will bring you out, but any more swearing and you will go straight back in. Is that understood?" triumphed the woman.
"I won't do it again." whimpered the subdued bird.
With that the woman reached in to the freezer and brought the parrot out. Now allowed to perch on the lady's finger to thaw out the parrot cautiously enquired, "May I ask what the turkey did?"
