Tacoronte in the north of Tenerife is an interesting town with all sorts tucked away in its side streets some of which are very steep. There are several Chinese restaurants and a theatre, a vet, an aquarist and pet shop and all the other businesses you would expect, plus a shop in the main street that specialises in African crafts.
Farmers and gardeners in general grow a lot of fruit and vegetables besides grapes, which the area is known for, and apples, figs, pumpkins, lemons and many other crops all grow well there.

They do indeed, and I was wondering why so many in the same place! Chinese food must be popular there I suppose! _________________ Find out more about me here: http://www.myspacetenerife.com/index.php?page=view_profile&id=10 |
