Bard, hi there, I was just wondering how you got on in your search for a mini disc player, and if you are planning on going down that route now. If you need any more info on trax etc. let me know........also if you are going to buy one make sure you buy a recordable mini disc player, otherwise you wont have a way of getting tracks onto mini disc from your pc when you down load them, a lot of them are just players and dont record.

Thanks so much for the info, Helena, which I will bear in mind if I ever take this any further! So far I haven't done so probably because it's not really my sort of performance and was an idea that came more out of frustration than anything else and even if I do go down that route it won't be of much help to me because even if I got the gigs I couldn't get to them from here.

So I'm just concentrating on writing, which is very time consuming (all I've done today!) but what I do and sometimes it pays off - I have just had an article on Atlantis co-written with author CJ Stone in the latest issue of Prediction and we have another on 2012 in the next issue. We are splitting the 200 pounds per article and as a team are working on a book that his agent thinks could get a deal.

Hi Bard, the writing sounds very interesting and enjoyable, and the book prospect sounds very exciting, you are obviously multi talented, you lucky thing! It must be rewarding when you see your work in print. Sounds like a nice way to make a living.
If you change your mind about the mini disc thing and need to know anything about it feel free to ask.
