Thanks, Margaret!
It does sound wonderful.
Is there a season for whales in that area?
Humpback whales migrate annually from Alaskan to Hawaiian waters to give birth, as you may know. The season for seeing whales is usually from December to March.
With your telling of the calf, it seems that area is also a birthing ground. Do you know the months of the season for watching whales there? |

The pilot whales and dolphins live here all year round (I'm assured that they have their residencias lol) other whales can be seen at various times of the year. _________________ .

From what I managed to pick up off the captain of the boat (quite a bit screaming going on off silly girls) there are about 1000 pods around the Canary Islands, and they are a very social mamal, the female eats eel and somtimes squid as they don't dive very deep, unlike the male who will dive to a depth of 1000 mtr for the squid.
It is such a calming experience when you see them, we felt honoured that they came in close and let us see their baby. _________________ Failures don't plan to fail, they fail to plan
