Hi Jimfin and welcome to our forum. You are really planning ahead aren't you!! Have a read through our stickies and other threads about working here? You are unlikely to find a job before you arrive but it would be a good idea for you to start saving to cover your deposit and rent when you arrive and until you find a job. _________________ Who am I? Hi Jimfin and welcome to our forum. Why wait till summer 2009? Tenerife is a year round destination, in fact the busiest two weeks of the year are Xmas/New year. _________________ .

Just imagine that you were the owner of the dubliner...... Would you offer a job to a student that you'd never met when that student is promising to come in 10 months time? A lot can happen in 10 months. You should read the stickies about working in Tenerife.
The Dubliner, like us, probably receives hundreds of job enquiries from non residents as well as hundreds from people who live here or who are here for a working holiday. _________________ .

If you go to the jobs/work section (where you posted this) It says in great big capital letters Announcement: !!PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU POST!!
I'm afraid that flying over for an interview is not the answer. You HAVE to be living here. Please read those stickies and announcements. We've written it for your benefit and to save us having to type the same info time and time again. _________________ .

You are probably very serious about this at the moment but I can tell you stories of people coming for interviews for responsible jobs and then after making all arrangements etc and for one reason or another they get cold feet and don't turn up. I and the vast majority of employers do not offer jobs to people not living on the Island. _________________ .
