Post subject: Public transport |

I realised last night that my MOT was overdue and decided to leave my car at the local garage and take the bus to work. In theory it should be easy. I waited at the bus stop and felt quite good that I was taking public transport and thought I might give up my car, go green even though it would cost more and take longer.
I waited and waited and waited, no bus, decided to wait no longer and take the bus from the street round the corner, they were more frequent. Maybe I had read the timetable wrong. Arrived late at work.
After work, I checked the timetable and knew there should be a bus in about 10 minutes. The bus came up on the LCD screen, then disappeared, the next bus 20minutes later came up on the screen and went and the next 20 minutes came and went. When a bus finally came I asked if there was a problem and i was told "TRAFFIC". Feeling cold, wet and hungry I got on the bus.
I finally got home one hour and 40 minutes after finishing work. It only takes me 20 to 30 minutes in total and that includes parking and a five minute walk usually.
Sorry, I am keeping my car, maybe I will try a Bike! |

You are right there is no point, the amount of rain we have had, I could have put some wash n wax on and it would have been sparkling. |
