My clever ducky has laid 3 eggs in 3 days!!!
Started laying tuesday night!! and each morning since then we have found a lovely white egg!!

As kids we were only allowed to have duck eggs hard boiled otherwise they could make you ill. Old wives tale?

Think its an old wives tale rob, we have eaten them poached (took blimmin ages to cook cos they are that much bigger and denser than chicken eggs), fried and I think scrambled (not from our duck, we have bout them in the past)

1 thing I will say is they are richer than hen eggs so perhaps they didnt want you to have them for that reason??

Wonder if it it depended on what the ducks had been fed on...
