Post subject: Hepatitus A injections ?? |
|
|
We are moving over on 28-03-06 and my wife and I are having our Hep A injections. Does anyone have children or know of anyone with children in Tenerife who have had their Hep A injection. My son is 3 and our health advisor has said its not necessary but I want to be 100% as I am sure my brothers daughter in Tenerife has had hers.
Many thanks for any help

Hello
I have 3 young children out here aged 3 7 &9. We didn't have any injections to come out here at all. My 2 eldest children go to a spanish school as well.
I had the hep A when i went 2 Tunisia a few years ago but it was only as a proviso not a requirement.
if you are unsure speak to your local travel clinic or your doctor.

Thanks for that, can I ask when your 3 year old is going to start school?
Will it be spanish school and does he/she speak spanish already. My son will hopefully be starting in Sept (spanish school) so I am a bit nervous about him settling in!!!
Thanks

Hello
I am going to register my son who is 3 in the same spanish school that my other two children go to.
As for spanish...........he is doing very well, obviously only basics at the moment, but he can uderstand more. I find that the spanish are really appreciative if you just try. They love children and are very helpful with the spanish.
My other 2 children have learnt so much since being in spanish school and as children they do learn quicker than us adults. We speak english at home of course but we do still practise our spanish at times, which helps, plus i have to translate thier homework lol.
You should have no problem with the language barrier as it will come, there arte many english children in the spanish schools.
Not sure if you have looked into it properly for paperwork and bits but if you need to what is required i can let you know. Each school may vary slightly but they do like paperwork out here and lots of it lol
pm me or email me direct at info@tenerifehennights.com
if need be i can give you my number and we can chat about it.
when are you out???
