Another post that's calling Vision river a liar. Shall we go back to the old days and burn all heretics? Just because he 'sees' things in a different light doesn't mean he's a liar or a pain in the neck. Go into any pub and you'll find more than enough people with a few drinks in them who will manage to embellish any story or to put it bluntly tell a pack of lies. _________________ .

I too have found some of Vision River’s posts very flowery and have wondered if there is a bit of exaggeration or fantasy in them. But I also realise that there are a lot of people in the world who travel around and obviously come across people and things that many of us find hard to believe.
The farm in Gran Canaria is obviously real as Bard knows of it.
I hope the comments do not stop you posting on our forum Gary, and I wish you and Kati the best of luck in the future. _________________ Growing old is mandatory. Growing up is optional. |

Here in brief, is a real story from my experience:
Years ago, my good friend King Arthur Pendragon, who is the head of a druid order and a famous UK ecowarrior, called for me on the afternoon of Halloween and was in a hired car because his motorbike was a write off after being in an accident. His legs were badly bruised and grazed and bandaged. However, he had given his word he would knight Lawrence Main on Carn Ingli - a sacred mountain in West Wales where St Brynach used to live and talk to angels. Lawrence was living in a tent and supervising the Dragon Project where people slept in the tent and he woke them when in REM sleep to record their dreams onto tape. He had also become identified with the St Brynach role. Lawrence BTW is an author and writer for Western Mail & Echo. He also has a book published by the Western Mail on walks in Wales in which he says in the introduction that he is convinced that King Arthur is who he is believed to be.
It was raining really badly but Arthur said I have a quest that I'd like you to accompany me on. I went with him and he drove through torrential rain all the way down. It finally stopped raining and in Newport near Cardigan we bought some food and drink and ciggies for the King and went to Carn Ingli where we met Lawrence who was in shorts and barefoot and who has a huge white beard. Lawrence is also a vegan and sticks with his diet. Arthur had problems getting up the mountain because his legs were in pain but he got there.
Eventually we were at Lawrence's camp where he had two tents - one he said had come his way because he had appealed to the angels.
A woman called Emma from a farm below and a young lady called Megan turned up. Megan was from Nova Scotia and was trying to hitch to Ireland and had got dropped off and had met Emma.
Emma eventually went back down to the farm but Megan chose to stay with us. It was getting cold and dark. Arthur knighted Lawrence. It was decided I would sleep in the tent with Lawrence as the "dreamer" and Megan would go in the other with Arthur.
It was cold and the ground was very bumpy and I couldn't sleep. Every so often Lawrence would ask me if I'd been dreaming and I'd say no, I haven't even got to sleep yet.
At one point I said I haven't been dreaming but in my head I just saw three black cloaked figures and recorded that onto his cassette. Eventually after a sleepless night the light came and I got out of the tent because I wanted to go for a pee,
Arthur was just opening the one he was in and he greeted me and told me he had been fighting psychic battles with three ring wraiths who had come for Megan. I instantly connected that this is what I'd seen.
An hour or so after that we said goodbye to Lawrence and Megan and Arthur and me went back to the car. He started driving back to Cardiff but stopped off at a valleys shop. Going in, he said: "Steve, if I tell that woman in here that I am King Arthur, that you are a Bard and Knight of my Druid order ( I am a Quest Knight of the Loyal Arthurian Warband) and that we have just come from a holy mountain where once a Welsh saint lived, and that I have been fighting against evil beings from the Tolkien books who came to attack a young woman from Novia Scotia, and further, that after all this I am driving back to Cardiff where this evening I have to knight a man who works for the BBC at a sacred site, that she will think I'm mad and won't believe me but you will know it is true."
It was, and he did drive back to Cardiff where in the evening he knighted a guy called Peter who was a producer for BBC Wales "The Slate" and he did all this at St Lythans Burial Chamber where he had problems climbing onto the cap stone because of his bad legs.
All of that I experienced and so Gary's stories I find are completely normal and believable! _________________ Find out more about me here: http://www.myspacetenerife.com/index.php?page=view_profile&id=10 |

I haven't even met him in person because instead of coming here to my place as was the plan at one stage, he and Kati went to Finca Luna as he has detailed.
PS Seeing as you are from Cardiff you will no doubt know of Dan O'Neill of the South Wales Echo who was knighted into the Loyal Arthurian Warband in Bute Park and appeared in a photo in the paper. Lionel Fanthorpe, also from Cardiff and famous for presenting Fortean TV, was knighted by Arthur at my old house in Ely. _________________ Find out more about me here: http://www.myspacetenerife.com/index.php?page=view_profile&id=10 |

Rachel,
You wrote that the U.K. is messed up, but what country isn't?
Germany and Spain are also "messed up" and America could write the book on "How to Trash a Nation in 200 Years."
It is the state of society.
Society is a reflection of the combined effect of individual lives, and each person is "messed up."
What happened in this thread is a good example.
My account of the farm and the robbery is factual. I can understand why people would question my writings of UFOs and earthbound souls. Those stories could hardly be told except through my personal interpretation of the experiences. I had the experiences, but what they really were cannot be proved by hard evidence. The farm and robbery, however, were described exactly as they happened without embellishment.
I set myself up to be robbed with my resistance and life responded. This has been an incredibly valuable lesson. I now see clearly the direct relation between my thoughts and emotions and the personal reality I create.
I understand experientially how empowering it is to accept self-responsibility for everything in my life.
And my understanding of the human condition has broadened considerably.
In the initial shock of loss of property and freedom of movement, my ego may have whined, but all in all this journey has been a success on the scale where it matters.
The journey continues, and we are currently happy to be in England. _________________
