For all you would be Tenerifers who want to live and work here but can't find a decent job and are perhaps thinking to buy a little bar in order to have a life in the sun, here's a far better alternative.

A friend of mine is selling one of his supermarkets due to pregnancy in the family.

He'd like 25,000 Euros for it without stock (you'll need between 5 and 10 thousand to stock it) but may go a tad lower for a very quick sale. It can easily give 2000+ net per month to a couple so it’s a very reasonable price. There's plenty of potential to increase takings, it has 400 square meters with lots of storage space should you wish to sublet, it's fully fitted with regular local trade and tourists from the aparthotel complex above the shop. The owner has another supermarket and will be available for advice and help.

Rent is 750 per month.

Hi Rob,

Just to let you know that I am no longer asking for a traspaso on the supermarket, just the value of the stock which is 10,000 euros. So really for about just over 7,000 pounds someone could move out here and earn a wage from day one!
