Post Post subject: January weather Reply with quote

Thinking of coming back in January (first time at this time of the year), and was wondering what the weather is like then. I know no one can be exact about the weather, but just your thoughts.

thanks

Unheated pools will be freezing, plenty of sun, can be cloudy though. When the sun is out shorts and t-shirts, evenings bring a jacket.

Average temp should be about 65 degrees.

Very Happy

Used to spend lots of time in North Wales.

I bet with the snow Llangollen looks stunning, if you can get to it.

Spent many happy days there it is a lovely place.

Take a look at the section that's headed Tenerife Weather. There you'll see average air and sea temps plus hours of sunshine.

My other half once got burnt reading on a sun bed in January, obviously it was quite warm but he thought he wouldn't burn in January.

Wrong! he learned the hard way!

Karl is right the unheated pools are freeeeezing.
I learned that the hard way too. (we put it down to the shorter days, so the pools do not get the heat for as long as in summer)

Enjoy your stay Very Happy
