Post subject: Two pyramid experts are coming to Tenerife in January |
|
|
The authors Philip Coppens and Semir Osmanagich will be in Tenerife in January and are hoping to deliver a lecture on pyramids.
Coppens wrote The New Pyramid Age and Osmanagich is famous for his discovery of and his research on the pyramids of Bosnia.
The two authors would like to give a 2-hour lecture on pyramids if organisers and a suitable venue can be found for the 24th of the month and they are willing to donate proceeds to the organisers of the event.
I am thinking the Ethnographic Park in Güímar seems the obvious choice of a venue and could work well if the event is publicised properly. Both the authors have lectured all over the world and both have had many books and other writings published.
I had written to Philip about the Tenerife pyramids and he will be investigating them with me. _________________ Find out more about me here: http://www.myspacetenerife.com/index.php?page=view_profile&id=10 |

Not accepted by some academics but then acdemia tends to be like that - stuck in theories its professors do not welcome having any challenge to! One of the leading ones on this island I emailed years ago and he never responded!
This is a big part of the problem - academics are quick to reject discoveries and new theories but often fail to do much more than that or fail to answer at all as is happening with one in particular with regard to the Bosnian pyramids.
And I quote Philip Coppens:
"The most avowed critic of the Bosnian pyramids in the western world is archaeology professor Anthony Harding, of the University of Exeter, UK. He voiced his opinion on the matter as early as April 2006, and drove around the town of Visoko for a few minutes in June that year, afterwards labelling the Visocica pyramid a natural formation..."
And:
"For this article, we contacted Professor Harding for comments but he did not reply. In previous interviews, however, he made it clear that he had an "opinion" about these pyramids before going to Visoko.
It is also clear that Harding, as the president of the European Association of Archaeologists, sees himself as the leader of a scientific crusade against so-called "pseudo-archaeology"-the Bosnian pyramids project being one of the few crusades he is able to wage, with Osmanagic as the sinner who goes against God's commands."
I have been asking in print and online about the other Tenerife pyramids besides the Güímar ones and I know no more than what I have been able to find in the Internet and in books and by talking to people and it is not a lot!
I think with these two authors over here we will get some more answers to the mystery. _________________ Find out more about me here: http://www.myspacetenerife.com/index.php?page=view_profile&id=10 |
