I have recently started to receive loads of text messages from some entity called club blinko on my mobile as well as spam e-mails, this was quite annoying and I just deleted them, now I'm told that they're also charging me 33 cents per text as well.
I certainly did not sign up to any texting club, so had no idea how to stop this robbery.
After trawling through the net I found many complaints about Club Blinko I came across instructions how to stop the texts, and it has appeared to work.
So, if anyone else is unfortunate enough to be inflicted with Club Blinko on their Spanish mobile, text, Baja to 5505 to stop it
I also black listed them on my e-mail.
Beware. _________________ .

I am very glad I don't use a mobile because that is really annoying! Glad to hear you found a solution, Rob!
I just had a look online and found this info in the Arizona Daily Star:
How Blinko signs you up:
● You may receive an unsolicited text message, such as a daily horoscope or joke of the day. If you accept it, you become a "Blinko Club member."
● You may take advantage of an offer for a free ringtone from the company, which also makes you a club member.
● Someone else who knows your cell-phone number and your provider can sign you up on Blinko's Web site. _________________ Find out more about me here: http://www.myspacetenerife.com/index.php?page=view_profile&id=10 |

Those pesky text messages started again. I called the vodafone business rep and got her into the office and eventually she rang 122 (the help no for companies) and got them to do a 'baja'. _________________ .
