Hi Kath, (again) A lot depends on where you intend to live, how many bedrooms you need etc. A studio in the holiday area will cost you about 450 Euros per month. 1 bed about 520 - 550, 2 bed 700 ish in the north it's cheaper and if you move away from the tourist areas into the hills/villages it's cheaper. I know of a brand new 2 bed in a quiet area, fabulous views, above Torviscas (las americas) available soon.
It would be a good idea if you told us something of your circumstances, it's much easier to point you in the right direction. |

Would need 3 bedrooms, minimum 2 with parking/garage space, preferably furnished.
Doesn't need to be coastal, but nowhere to rural...... I like human contact
Area somewhere between Las Galletas and Fanabe, although thats not etched in stone.
As for dates, well thats not something we can determine right now as we are only in the very early stages of looking at moving. |

Good luck, finding what you're looking for, Kath!
Rob, if you hear of any one bedroom apartments in the northern hills and villages please let me know. BTW, I recently walked from San Andres over the mountains all the way to La Laguna and I love the mountain air and views.

| You're right. I lived in the mountains for many years and that air is something else. Ok so sometimes it can be colder and damp sometimes but oh those winter days when the sun shines and the air sparkles, it tastes better than champagne. |

Need a 2 bedroom house/villa/apartment to rent long term (12 months +), must have a garage/parking space and/or storage space. The area can be anywhere between Los Cristianos and Los Abrigos. We are looking at trying to get out there mid July so any help would be greatly appreciated. _________________ Going to Tenerife |

Hi Kath,
With such a large area to choose from you'll have no problem. you won't find anyone willing to keep something empty for nearly three months while thay wait for your arrival. I can put you in touch with agencies nearer the time. |

My friend and i have jobs lined up to work on Verionicas strip this summer. But we havent got accomodation. Ideally we are looking for a Studio that sleeps two, or 1 bedroom that sleeps two.
If we dont get anything before we go, does anyone know how we go about getting somewhere to live when we get there? And what are the typical routines? do you pay a month in advance? can you move in whenver you want or do you have to move in as soon as you have paid deposit? |
