The Dramatic Beauty of Los Gigantes
Los Gigantes has to be one of the most stunning locations on the island of Tenerife. The landscapes and coastlines are out of this world. The focal point of the charming town is the lovely marina with it's many yachts, boats and pleasure cruisers. Los Gigantes is situated on the westerly point of Tenerife, it's a peaceful resort with a backdrop of dramatic mountains. These great mountains dramatically slope down to the coastline forming the magnificent cliffs found there. The cliffs offer a perfect natural protection from the trade winds which means the town enjoys one of the best climates on the whole of the island.

Life in Los Gigantes goes at a much slower pace than in other more vibrant areas on the south of the island. El Laguillo and Club Oasis are popular places where people love to soak up the rays and lounge around swimming pools as well as taking part in more leisurely outdoor activities like bowls.
Los Gigantes is great place to see whales and dolphins and the chances of sighting them are virtually guaranteed. Visitors descend on Los Gigantes to enjoy the diving, the fishing and the tranquillity of the place. There are plenty of bars around the harbour and the town but by midnight things get pretty quiet. There is a great choice of restaurants too, all serving home cooked food and if you need to find a supermarket, there are two small ones right in the centre of the resort.
